Summary from Goodreads:
Lost and broken, Celaena Sardothien’s only thought is to avenge the savage death of her dearest friend: as the King of Adarlan’s Assassin, she is bound to serve this tyrant, but he will pay for what he did. Any hope Celaena has of destroying the king lies in answers to be found in Wendlyn. Sacrificing his future, Chaol, the Captain of the King’s Guard, has sent Celaena there to protect her, but her darkest demons lay in that same place. If she can overcome them, she will be Adarlan’s biggest threat – and his own toughest enemy.
While Celaena learns of her true destiny, and the eyes of Erilea are on Wendlyn, a brutal and beastly force is preparing to take to the skies. Will Celaena find the strength not only to win her own battles, but to fight a war that could pit her loyalties to her own people against those she has grown to love?

Sorry for doing the post late! I’ve been super busy!
Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
YYYYEEESSSS! I just read the Throne of Glass series this summer and I was pleasantly surprised because I normally don’t like fantasy but I did really like this series. There was so much hype that it couldn’t really be bad. There was a mind blowing revelation at the end of this book so I’m excited to see what happens!
The Jewel by Amy Ewig
This book sounds really creepy but so did Perfected and I loved that book! This sounds like an edge-of-your seat book that I am probably going to read.
Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini
Meh. Fantasy. I’m not big on fantasy or witches or anything like that. If there is huge hype and great reviews then mmayyybe.
Don’t Touch by Rachel M. Wilson
This book sounds really good. I think books based on physiological disorders are really sad but also really educational and intriguing. Wintergirls is one of my favorites and I liked Say What You Will. I really want to read this, so expect a review!
Anatomy of a Misfit by Andrea Portes
Okay, all of the reviews say this book is really, really sad. But, I still want to read it. I love books with sarcasm (I’m looking at you, Kaise West) and this book seems poised to have some. I think I’ll read this even though I may die of sadness.
Falling into Place by Amy Zhang
This book sounds really interesting and I loveloveloved Before I Fall so this sounds very similar. Books about suicide are always very sad but still intriguing. I will read this so review will come!
Illusions of Fate by Kiersten White
Downton Abbey meets Cassandra Clare? Yes. I think. This will either be amazing or terrible. The reviews so far are good. I love Downton and I have neutral feelings about Cassandra Clare. We’ll see.
Rites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley
This sounds pretty good. I think the story line would be great but if the romance overpowers the story I think it will be stupid. This has a Cadet Kelly vibe and I was all about that movie a few years ago! Good prospects for this book.
The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancy
YYYEEESSS! I am so excited for this book. The Fifth Wave was awesome and had such a frustrating ending! I am also very excited for The Fifth Wave movie coming out in January 2016!
I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
This book has super good reviews but I don’t know about this one.
Ashes to Ashes by Jenny Han and Sibohan Vivian
I loveloveloved To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and I enjoyed The List so I’ve wanted to start the Burn for Burn series. I think I will soon.
Falls the Shadow by Stephanie Gaither
Clones? What? I enjoyed Double Identity four years ago and that was about clones. I’m not sure. This isn’t a definite yes or no.
The Vault of Dreams by Caragh M. O’Brien
Oooooo super cool premise! I love books about mysterious schools or camps because of my positive past with Percy Jackson and Harry Potter. The reviews are okay but I still might try this one because it sounds very unique.
Made for You by Melissa Marr
It is in the south! North Carolina to be exact, and I live in South Carolina so we’re almost there! The premise is really, really interesting. I want to read this for sure.
The Perilous Sea by Sherry Thomas
This is the second book in a series. I am always very skeptical of fantasy, but this book has amazing reviews. We’ll see. I just love realistic fiction so it is hard for me to read fantasy.
Unmade by Sarah Rees Brenan
I kind of have no idea what this series is about but it sounds intriguing, I guess? The summary is confusing, even for the first book.
Afterworlds by Scott Westerfield
Meh. Sounds kind of like The Lovely Bones (which I have only seen the movie) but I did not completely enjoy that movie. I read Uglies but I struggled through it. I probably won’t read this.
Unmarked by Kami Garcia
Meh. I read Beautiful Creatures a few years ago and it wasn’t that good. I also read Idols and completely forgot that book ever existed. This sequel has very good review, though. If the reviews are astounding, I may read it.
Winterspell by Claire Legrand
Doesn’t sound terrible, doesn’t sound great. I’ll probably forget about this book but I’m not opposed to reading it.
The Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter
Hmm. I don’t really like zombie books, shows, or movies. This series does sound interesting, though. I’m open for discussion.
THE MAZE RUNNER COMES OUT SEPTEMBER 19TH AND I CANNOT CONTROL MYSELF!!! I read The Maze Runner four years ago and I have loved that series for a long time. I also watch Teen Wolf and have a severe Dylan O’Brien crush so I have been anticipating The Maze Runner movie even before there was talk about it. Y’all don’t understand, or at least I hope you do. I AM SO READY!
(I will review If I Stay and The Giver once I see them! I just haven’t had time yet.)
